How to take a night photo shot with a phone?
There a lot of tutorials for how to take picture using our mobile phone on internet. yet on this post me as an armature photographer wanted to share little knowledge on how to prepare, set up your setting on your phone and the angle of taking a picture at the night time.
Preparation ( tools required )
- a mobile phone ( whatever it is *should have night mode on)
- a mirror or using a puddle on the street ( if it's raining or pour the water to a hole on the street)
- tripod ( if you have *your hand have to stable while photographing an object)
Setting the camera
- go to the camera option and click on it
- after that, go and click more or if you are using iPhone ( swipe left until you stuck on night mode)
- after more then click night mode
( Important: night mode is a mode made to us be able to taken picture at the night time or an area with less light)
*remember, night mode is unstable mode so, while your taking picture with it, make sure your hand must be stable, because if your shake just a bit, it will affect on your result.
The angle
well, on this stage actually you should be able to taking picture with any angle that you desire, yet, once again I'm here just want to share my angle or position when I was taken images at the night time like on above.
- The basic step of positioning our camera at the night time normally is a medium angel, yet if there is a puddle on the street right around you, then all you need to do is move the cam down right front the puddle and take trial picture( ensure it is good ), if is not fascinating you then, try focusing the cam into the area of the puddle ( only uses the reflection of the puddle) to capture the reflection on the building.
- Using mirror, this is one of the best way to do a reflection at the night time, because we do not to sought for a puddle. the way is just put the mirror right down of your cam and make sure your mirror is glue to back of your phone, after that, find an object that you want to shot using your cam. *remember, down angle is best angle of taking picture of huge building.
